Bangladesh’s coastal region is facing a substantial salinity problem in its soil and water. This issue is preventing many people from accessing fresh water for drinking and irrigation.

In a collaboration with the USAID Nobo Jatra Project II, the USAID Farmer-to-Farmer activity engaged climate-smart agriculture expert Aimee Foster to deliver a  training on agricultural solutions that can help tackle this problem. In this video, Aimee shares takeaways from her visit with smallholder farmers, agro-dealers, and government officials. When applied, she shares how these climate-smart agriculture solutions will help farmers grow food and increase their income, despite a changing climate.
