From November 14 to 16, Land O’Lakes Venture37 will join experts, donors, and practitioners at the Market Systems Symposium 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa, to share best practices and lessons learned in market systems development. This year, Market Systems Symposium 2023 brings together hundreds of people from around the globe to engage in dialogue, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities that aim to spur theoretical and practical knowledge sharing in the sector. This year’s conference theme is “Shaping the Future: Addressing the Realities of a Changing World,” which challenges attendees to think through how to increase market systems impact in the face of climate change, conflict, and food insecurity.

Venture37 experts Emmet Murphy, Technical Director for Agricultural Market Systems, and Macleod Nkhoma, Executive Director of the Centre for Agricultural Transformation, will be sharing their insights on six in-person panels. The topics will range from disruptive technology in Malawi’s private sector to innovations in last-mile agricultural delivery in Rwanda and market systems resilience analyses in Haiti.
